Transportation from Belgrade to Kopaonik will be organized for participants of the 53rd SYM-OP-IS. The departure time and location will be announced later.

Information about the venue

Located in the Vikend Naselje area of Kopaonik, within the natural surroundings of the National Park, complex Hotel Kraljevi čardaci Spa sits at an altitude of 1,450 meters. It is situated approximately 4.5 km from the tourist center and 2.5 km from the nearest ski lift, providing a quiet environment with easy access to the mountain’s main facilities.

The hotel offers modern congress capacities designed for scientific meetings, seminars, and professional events. It provides an adequate setting for work, the exchange of ideas, and networking. In addition to conference halls, participants have access to restaurants and bars, sports and recreational facilities and a spa & wellness center. These amenities are available to support the quality of the stay and the overall conference experience.

Accommodation prices

The accommodation prices for symposium participants are expressed in RSD, including VAT. The price does not include the tourist tax and insurance of 170 RSD per person, per night.

Accommodation price (full board) per person, per night:

Single Room: 8.500 RSD (~72€)
Double Room: 6.900 RSD (~59€)
Triple Room: 5.900 RSD (~50€)

Children Accommodation Policy

Children aged 0–2 years stay free of charge, provided they share an existing bed with their parents.
Children aged 2–11.99 years are charged 50% of the adult accommodation rate.
Children aged 12 years and older are charged the full adult accommodation rate.

Accommodation Reservations

Conference participants may book their accommodation through the hotel’s website by using a special promotional code SYMOP26. For online reservations, payment is made by credit or debit card, and the total amount of the reservation is charged in full at the time of booking.

When contacting the hotel, guests must state that the reservation is being made for a participant of the SYM-OP-IS 2026 conference.

The following information is required when making a reservation:

full name;
dates of stay;
number of guests.

If payment is to be made by a company, the following company details must also be provided:

company name;
address;
company registration number;
tax identification number (TIN).

Cancellation Policy

Guests must notify the hotel in writing of any cancellation or request to change the dates of their stay.
Depending on when the cancellation is made, the following cancellation charges will apply:

30% of the total reservation amount if the booking is cancelled between 19 and 11 days prior to the scheduled check-in date;
100% of the total reservation amount if the booking is cancelled 10 days or less prior to the scheduled check-in date, after check-in, or in the event of a no-show;
In the event of early departure, Kraljevi Čardaci SPA reserves the right to retain payment for the unused portion of the booked stay;
Any changes to the dates of stay are subject to the hotel’s prior approval and availability.

Adverse weather conditions are not considered a valid reason for cancelling a reservation or departing before the scheduled check-out date.

Administrative / Logistic Information

Foreign visitors traveling to Serbia will typically arrive at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, the country’s main international airport. From Belgrade, Kopaonik can be reached in approximately 3 to 4 hours by car, depending on traffic and weather conditions.

Entry Requirements

Participants are advised to check visa requirements in advance based on their nationality.

Currency and Payments

The official currency in Serbia is the Serbian dinar (RSD). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and shops, although it is recommended to carry some cash for smaller purchases. Money can be exchanged at banks, post offices, and authorized exchange offices, with the current rate approximately 1 EUR = 117.5 RSD.
